Sign in to your google account and open the file url. You will get some error message like Sorry you can't download this file Like below screenshot.

Now simply copy the file url and paste it into another tab. Check url field and replace url like below. Google drive file url looks like below link:

Now replace the file url, Simple remove edit suffix on file url and add view instead in Edit and open the file. Edit means the file available to download. You can choose the particular file and download. replacing edit with view will gives you access to view file.

Now open the file url and you will get file page. Then click on the add To drive icon on top right corner. This file file will add in your files list on Your google drive account. Then open Google drive and you will get your recently added files in Your homepage of Google drive.

Here It shows the file which is not able to download. Here right click on the file and choose the option Make a Copy and it will add new file like Copy of Your file.
