Here many beginners tries many themes in blogs by uploading them into theme directory. Once you choose desired theme as your blog theme. Then all other themes are saved in your site without any reasons.

So your theme folder loaded with tons of unwanted files. You can easily delete them for save your memory and bandwidth. So follow below steps to delete themes wordpress site permanently.

How To Delete Themes In Wordpress :

This is easy to delete wordpress themes permanently. Here follow below steps to delete themes in wordpress.

Login To your wordpress site wp admin and click on Appearance section. It will show all available appearance customization on popup box. Choose themes section and open this page.

Here you will get all installed themes in your wordpress site with theme customization. Tap on theme you want to delete and click on Theme Details. It will show theme author and theme description with theme preview. Here you will get Delete button on top right bottom of popup.

Click on this button and you will get popup which asking your confirmation to delete wordpress theme. Click on OK and done. You theme file will deleted now and follow the same steps with all other themes.

This method only working on other themes rather than your current theme. Wordpress doesn't allows you to delete current theme from site. So make sure you are selecting your desired theme and delete rest themes.

Method 2 : Delete Wordpress Themes From Cpanel :

You can also delete themes on wordpress using your hosting account cpanel. Just login to your hosting account and open your site cpanel. Click on the File Manager.

Here you will get all files contains in your site with customization option. Click on the public_html folder and open wp_content folder. This will show all wordpress contents including themes, plugins and cache files.

Open themes folder and it will show all installed themes in your wordpress site. All theme files stored as zip file and it shows folder icon near theme name. Then click on theme file you want to delete and click on delete button on tools. This will delete theme folder and theme file from your wordpress site.

Delete all theme files one by one and completely remove all themes from your site except current theme files. This method working all web hosting provider cpanels. So follow above steps and enjoy.
